BCR as employer continue the negotiations with trade unions in BCR for a new a Collective Labor Contract of BCR, as the parties have not yet reached an agreement, within the legal term of negotiation which expires on March 31, 2011.
Since the previous BCR Collective Labor Contract expired on Friday, March 4, 2011, the employer has put in place an interim policy to maintain the employees’ benefits over the negotiation process.
This policy will be valid upon the signing of a new Collective Labour Contract.

We are deeply concerned about the fact that, according to the Unions two employees announced their intention to start a hunger strike and we would like to do our best to make them change their decision. Unfortunately, the Unions wouldn’t reveal their identity..

In the same time we are convinced that no one from the management has put any pressure on the employees related to the union actions taken recently as Unions say and we have asked the unions to provide us facts and names.
BCR is a responsible employer and had established practices and principles for manager – employees’ relationships to be applied.

We hope to seal the negotiations as soon as possible so that BCR can successfully continue its strategy and business plan, for the benefit of all interested parties – clients and partners, employees, shareholders and community.
